Getting to The Bartizan ​

The Bartizan, Galle Fort is approximately a two-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport via the Southern Expressway. For directions, you can search “The Bartizan Galle Fort” on Google Maps, which will guide you directly to the hotel.

 

Vehicles can reach our main entrance on Rampart Street, located just across from the oceanfront ramparts.

For those traveling by train, the Galle Railway Station is approximately a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride from the hotel, with tuk-tuks readily available outside the station. Guests may also choose to walk, which takes around 20 minutes through the Fort.

Parking

Limited parking is available directly across from The Bartizan on Rampart Street, with a small number of designated spaces for guests.

Additional public parking is available along the same street, also directly across from the hotel, for a nominal fee managed by local authorities.
